Two signatures

Two effects nobody else's site has, made from the tattoo and the logo themselves. Each has a lighter version for phones and switches off for people who turn motion down.

Stencil to skin

The section holds still while you scroll through a tattoo being made: the purple stencil lines go down, the grey shading builds from the darkest areas out, then the finished, healed piece lands.

Scroll drives it, so it never plays faster than you read. Reduced motion: the three stages side by side.

  1. 01StencilThe design goes on in purple first, so you can see exactly where it sits.
  2. 02ShadingBlack and grey goes in slowly, darkest areas first, then the soft tones.
  3. 03HealedOnce it heals, the redness is gone and the piece settles into the skin.

Molten chrome logo

The chrome lettering turns to liquid metal: move across it and it ripples like mercury, with the light rolling over the curves. Left alone, it glints and breathes.

Phones: the chrome ripples on its own and under your finger. Reduced motion: the still logo.
