The 48-hour rule lives in the Worker's cancel_booking tool, not in a prompt, so the dashboard and Vik's assistant always apply it the same way. Clients don't cancel online (Vik's rule): they ask him, and he runs it from the booking page or Telegram. It records who asked. No card refund goes out without his OK.

How it lands on the Earnings page
Refunded To do
Card deposits wait under card refunds waiting for your OK (Today, Earnings, morning summary); once approved, Square sends it and the refund line is recorded. Test or cash: Refunds to do until record_refund.
Forfeited Kept
Counted in Deposits kept on the day it was cancelled. The deposit was already money in when it was paid.
No-show Kept
Counted in Deposits kept by the session date. No refund line, no follow-up emails.
Moving instead Reschedule
A client can move a confirmed session once, 48h+ ahead, from "Change the date" in their emails. After that they ask Vik (he can allow late). Same deposit; emails re-queued. Not built: offering a freed date to the waitlist.
